A Kawhi Leonard, 4-team mega-trade involving the Philadelphia 76ers

The team is in talks with San Antonio to acquire the two-time all-star via a trade.

The Spurs keep trying to raise the ante for Leonard, saying that another team is offering more, according to sources.

With all of the rumors swirling, one popular sportsbook now has the odds of Leonard landing with the Raptors the same as the odds of the star forward beginning next season with the Spurs. ESPN's Brian Windhorst then said in an appearance on SN 590 The Fan Wednesday that National Basketball Association executives believe the Raptors are one of the best positioned teams to make a play for Leonard.

"To this point in trade discussions, the Lakers have not shown a sense of urgency to make a Kawhi Leonard trade".

The Spurs have reached the playoffs in 21 straight seasons, but they were the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference last season after going just 47-35.

The Raptors would risk losing Leonard in a year since he's eligible to become a free agent next summer and reportedly wants to play in Los Angeles.

It may not be ideal for the Spurs, but it's one that would get the deal done.

If San Antonio wants to get a deal done, the Sixers remain one of the best options in the league.

Now the betting site has Toronto at even money while San Antonio has moved to +400 in regards to retaining Leonard.

However, the reported stories say that the Lakers have been unwilling to attach any of their best young players in a trade for Kawhi, and the Celtics' and Sixers' offers have been similar, which opens the door slightly for another team to enter. It has only been a few months, but it seems like this saga has been brewing for a billion years. Leonard's odds of starting the season with the Spurs are the same as his odds of playing for the Raptors in the season opener.
