China Supports Iran Nuclear Deal in Talks with Iranian Leader

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani delivers remarks at a news conference during the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, on September 20, 2017.

"Everyone demonstrated solidarity with London over a certain event in Salisbury but nothing concrete was said again", Putin said.

In a statement issued by 6 of the 7 countries at the G-7, they said that together they were a larger economic powerhouse than the United States. "Whether you like it or not, and it may not be politically correct, but we have a world to run", Trump said.

Putin also spoke of the industrialized nations, which was the G8 with Russian Federation until it was suspended from the group in 2014 when it annexed the Crimean peninsula from Ukraine.

The comments at the summit, where the leaders of China and Russian Federation were present, came on the same day that Iran's parliamentary speaker, Ali Larijani, said that it is time for Europe to show it can save the nuclear deal.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Sunday he was ready for a face-to-face meeting with US President Donald Trump over the dangers of a new arms race. Putin added that a thorough discussion is needed to address the issue.

He said he did not discuss a possible meeting venue with Trump but "many" countries including Austria were keen to help in organising such a summit.
