Lyon Conclusively Rule Out Liverpool Move For Nabil Fekir

Liverpool appeared to be on the verge of signing Nabil Fekir according to French Football Federation president Noël Le Graët, who claimed the Olympique Lyon star passed a medical while on location at France's pre-World Cup training camp.

The two clubs had been discussing a deal for the playmaker worth 60m euros (£52.75m) - 55m (£48.35m) plus a maximum of 5m (£4.4m) add-ons.

"The transfer has not been done and even less so at this price", Jean-Michel Aulas, the Lyon chairman said in a message to l'AFP.

With Nabil Fekir-to-Liverpool all but done, Julien Laurens describes what kind of player he is and where he'd be best suited in Jurgen Klopp's XI.

"Olympique Lyonnais is delighted to be able to count on the presence of their captain in 2018-2019", Lyon said in a statement.

Hurricanes Are Moving Slower-And That's a Huge Problem
So it isn't clear just how much of the change that Kossin found is actually attributable to human-induced climate change. Hurricanes are slowing down - and leaving behind a lot more damage when they make landfall, according to a new study .

He came through Lyon's youth system and has made 153 appearances for the club, scoring 57 goals, having made his debut in 2013. The Brazilian superstar moved to Barcelona for a fee of €120m, which, in turn, allowed Liverpool to splash the cash on Fekir this summer.

The 18-time English champions are keen to secure Fekir's signature ahead of the World Cup in Russian Federation.

On Friday, Lyon issued a statement to decry "false" reports over a deal being reached for the 24-year-old forward, adding to speculation that both Fekir's previous knee injury and concerns over the financial structuring of the deal from the Ligue 1 club's point of view might scupper a potential blockbuster transfer.

Speculation is swirling about why the deal has not been rubber-stamped.

Liverpool did not attempt, suggest or offer to renegotiate any terms for Fekir. "There is something logical, it has already been done for others".
