Joe Burrow's seven best transfer options after leaving Ohio State

Joe Burrow's seven best transfer options after leaving Ohio State

Quarterback Joe Burrow #10 of the Ohio State Buckeyes calls out signals during a game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on September 30, 2017 at High Point Solutions Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey.

Burrow did everything he could to win the starting job with the Buckeyes, but it's clear either Dwayne Haskins or Tate Martell will be the successor to J.T. Barrett in Columbus.

Because he graduated, Burrow can transfer and immediately use his remaining two years of eligibility. He was Barrett's backup in 2016, but got beat out by Haskins for that role heading into the 2017 season. He redshirted as a true freshman and appeared in just 10 games over the past two seasons.

During spring practice, Burrow said he was conflicted about what he would do after graduation.

What does Burrow bring to the table?

A decision came down Tuesday when Burrow declared via social media that he's moving on despite a strong spring, including his 15-of-22, 238-yard performance in the spring game.

Air France shares nosedive after CEO bails
In the wake of the rejection of Janaillac's pay deal to Air France staff, a two-day strike over May 7 and 8 has gone ahead. On Monday, unionized staff are set to walk out for the 14th day as they press for a 5.1-percent salary increase this year.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Quarterback Joe Burrow has chose to transfer from Ohio State. "He's best when getting rid of it quickly but versatile enough to be a unsafe weapon as a downfield passer".

Many schools have been linked to Burrow in recent weeks, even before the news of his transfer became public.

The decision from the redshirt junior, delivered via Twitter, wasn't unexpected, although he didn't disclose where he was headed.

Myles Brennan, Justin McMillan and Lowell Narcisse, all inexperienced options, competed for LSU during spring ball.

But on Monday, Burrow was not officially available, on Tuesday he is. He can step right in and play for a name brand coach in Frank Solich, and do so in an offense that is tailored to his style. I will decide where I will play next year in the coming weeks. Jimmy, now the defensive coordinator at OH, was also a graduate assistant coach here under Frank Solich.

Ohio State's loss is potentially the University of Florida's gain. Other interested suitors will certainly trickle out in the coming days as well.
