Sacked US Television Anchor Charlie Rose, CBS News Sued For Sexual Harassment

Three women who worked with Charlie Rose have filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against CBS News and the television journalist.

Dozens of women have accused Rose of sexually harassing them while he worked at CBS, many of whom came forward after a November 2017 article in the Washington Post alleging various lewd actions by the journalist.

The complaint - filed in New York County Supreme Court by former CBS employees Katherine Harris and Sydney McNeal, as well as current employee Yuqing Wei - alleges the network knew about Rose's long history of sexual misconduct around young female coworkers but did nothing to stop it.

Since Rose was sacked, CBS News said it has taken steps to ensure a safer workplace, including mandatory misconduct training. We reached out to him today for comment on the suit but have not heard back. Both Harris and McNeal lost their jobs after Rose's PBS show was canceled in the wake of the Post's reporting.

The allegations include details of comments Rose made about their intelligence and their ethnicity. The lawsuit also alleges that Wei warned Kadro about Rose's behavior.

The three women claim Rose had a nasty side, berating them for booking the incorrect flights and calling them idiots.

They also claim CBS "unlawfully retaliated" against one of them and that the company "failed to investigate the matter".

On one occasion, Rose allegedly screamed at Harris, "I didn't know that I hired a fucking kindergartner".

The Prime Minister is slated to address another 12 rallies over the next few days before Karnataka goes to the polls on May 12. Development, fast-paced development and all round development is the agenda of PM Modi and people of Karnataka.

Three former CBS employees who allege that Charlie Rose sexually harassed them are suing him.

CBS never responded to the complaint, according to the lawsuit, which states the network "subsequently questioned the accuracy of her timesheets and told her that she would be replaced as an anchor assistant and would not be able to apply to work for the show's new co-anchor, John Dickerson".

CBS News President David Rhodes has said publicly there "was not knowledge" of Rose's alleged sexual harassment. The lawsuit says that Wei's health suffered as a result of her experience with CBS. According to the suit, Rose would invite Harris and McNeal out for dinners, and then sexually touched them on their thighs and kissed them on their cheeks.

Wei has taken medical leave from the show.

Charlie Rose was sacked after eight women leveled sexual harassment accusations against him.

In the following three decades, three CBS managers had been made aware of the complaints, according to the Post investigation.

Rose, a co-host on CBS This Morning and a correspondent for the network's flagship Sunday night news program 60 Minutes, is among numerous men in politics, business and the entertainment industry who have seen their careers implode following allegations of sexual misconduct, fuelling the social media #MeToo movement in the past few months.
