Avengers: Infinity War fever sweeps India, marks strong performance at BO

The latest installment of Marvel Cinematographic universe, owned by Disney, was Black Panr, which since its premiere in mid-February has entered more than 1.33 billion dollars (1.096 billion euros) worldwide with a cast composed nearly so Exclusive by black actors.

Infinity War is ostensibly confirmed as the biggest opening ever in Canada, but the press release noted that the official numbers won't be out until Monday. "Infinity War" playing on more screens (4,474) than "Force Awakens (4,134) helped, too". The worldwide opening of the new Avengers movie also notches the top spot.

"'Avengers: Infinity War' demonstrated yet another Marvel superhero power", Paul Dergarabedian, an analyst at comScore, said.

Hawkeyes Jackson and Daniels Taken in NFL Draft
One of the coolest moments of the night came shortly after the Baltimore Ravens selected Lamar Jackson late in the first round. Green Bay also took a long snapper with the second of their three seventh-round picks in Mississippi State's Hunter Bradley .

Needless to say, Infinity War will also be walking away with the best superhero opening crown, passing The Avengers domestically ($207.4 million) and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice ($422.5 million) globally. The film will soon cross the coveted Rs 100 crore mark in the opening weekend itself. That shatters the record for biggest worldwide opening held by Universal's "The Fate of the Furious", which made $541 million for its global opening a year ago. That total includes a Marvel domestic record of $22.5 million. It has a very good chance to pass $2 billion worldwide, but the real target here is Avatar's $2.78 billion as the all-time global leader.

Avengers: Infinity War earned $250 million in its first weekend, besting fellow Disney title Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($248 million). It is one of only six films to have ever achieved more than $200m during their opening weekend. "'Infinity War' will effectively reverse the down trending box office we've seen so far this year and get the industry on track setting the stage for what could be a big summer". Still, a Marvel-record $39 million (according to Box Office Mojo) on Thursday preview night alone is even more than expected. In the face of that, Paramount's "A Quiet Place" managed to hold on for $10.6 million in its fourth weekend, a 49 percent drop from the previous weekend after keeping its drop to under 40 percent in past frames.
